Joining my loves
by Zelda of Arel
Im walking in darkness,
The perfect moon above.
The loud silence
Following my steps.
I stop to hear,
A wolf howl near.
Is it a pet of the night,
Or a game of the light?
Are you an animal
Under the Gods gaze?
Perhaps the Goddess plays
Her magic with you?
The roads cross before me
And Hecate points my way.
"To the left," she shows,
I follow her lead.
Tall, living walls of nature
Stand guard along my path.
I look up to see two orbs
Glisten with stolen gleam.
I do not hold
Idle fear in me,
For I am one with night,
A Goddess by deed.
I am the moon.
I shine with might,
But not as bright
As the sun of doom.
I softly touch
The world of much,
Never hurting
The precious thing.
I must carry on,
A road before me,
At the end waiting
My final destiny.
I see a glow
Quivering in front,
A figure sitting,
Waiting for me to come.
I step to his side,
His face in ridges,
Smiling on a grave,
Seeing if I may.
His hands reach out,
I am his captive.
A toy in his lap,
Still with warm flesh.
He is so cold,
With eyes bright gold.
My hair is moved,
His fangs are shown.
A stinging pain
Overcomes my brain.
Slipping away,
Stepping on a new way.
I die shortly
With his blood in me,
To become one forever
With my two desires. |
